Consumption-critical city tours

The Münster-based associations la tienda e.V. and Vamos e.V. organise consumption-critical city tours in the form of open dates and on request for groups and school classes.

The global production conditions of everyday consumer goods are critically examined and our own consumer behaviour is reflected upon. The main focus is on positive approaches, a broader awareness of global connections, personal responsibility and concrete alternatives for each and every individual. In groups new forms of consumption can be experienced in a playful way. The interactive tours are based on a lively exchange and lively discussions.

Public dates are listed on this page, otherwise these tours can be booked on request for groups with different thematic focuses. Vamos e.V. also offers its tours in the southern Münsterland (Coesfeld and Warendorf districts).

Main topics

  • Textiles
  • Plastic
  • Smartphones / Electrics
  • Alternative life models
  • God life
  • SDGs

These tours are suitable for those aged 14 and over, especially for school classes.

SGDs (global sustainability goals) of the tour

The individual goals cannot all be separated from one another and are of course also interlinked. Goals that our tours clearly cover are “decent work”, “sustainable cities & communities”, “sustainable consumption & production” and “climate protection measures”. However, fair trade alone, for example, as an alternative that we have taken up, naturally also addresses goals such as “no poverty”, “less hunger” and “gender equality”.
