The joint SDG tour

Barrier-free for people with walking disabilities

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which set visionary targets for a sustainable, social and ecological world by 2030.

But what exactly does that mean? How can and should these goals be achieved and what does this mean for Münster or ourselves? Could Münster theoretically feed itself with the current agricultural system? Is there anything new in terms of climate adaptation? Where and how can we contribute to achieving the goals in our everyday activities? What opportunities can I find in Münster's streets and/or businesses?

Our SDG city tour, which was developed jointly by several groups in the network, aims to explore these questions and use local examples to highlight the challenges and opportunities for achieving the goals. Stations along the tour addressing the topics climate adaptation and justice, water, food security, women's history, biodiversity, sufficiency, Masematte and consumption will also show what local politics and citizens can achieve and what role each and every one of us can play in this.
